<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;ve created a set of printable cards which teachers can use with upper primary school children to help them think about the uses of GenAI in schools. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Developed with children and educators across Scotland, the resource pack introduces AI in a way that’s practical, ethical and age-appropriate, with children’s human rights at its core.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Featuring six ready-to-use lesson plans, real-life scenarios, and animated videos created by children, the pack supports teachers to explore AI in fun, thoughtful and meaningful ways.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Learners with additional support needs often decode text effectively but struggle with comprehension, particularly when it involves abstract ideas and implicit meanings. <br><br>This lesson uses AI as a &#8220;thinking partner&#8221; to help learners analyse key themes, clarify complex messages, and uncover bias in news imagery. <br><br>By externalising their thought processes with AI, learners develop critical and abstract thinking skills, allowing them to navigate media with greater confidence.</p>
