Exploring the AI Jungle
Jungles are wonderful places, full of intriguing creatures and plants with interesting behaviour. What if thinking about the unexpected ways that the living creatures which inhabit the jungle behave and interact could help us understand AI systems? Thanks to generous funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Bridging AI Responsible Divides programme, Judy Robertson, Laura Meagher and Elspeth Maxwell created a picturebook and a teachers’ guide explaining ways how a type of Artificial Intelligence called Generative AI could be used in schools. Find out more about the wider project here: https://blogs.ed.ac.uk/youngpeopleandai/ and Towards embedding responsible AI in the school system: co-creation with young people | Digital Education.– Preface: Exploring the AI Jungle
